FAQ

  • Will your people do the work, or will it be subcontracted out to others?

We don't use subcontractors. Each job is done by the Mulcahy crew and will be personally supervised by Matt himself.
  • What guarantee of satisfaction do you make?

Your satisfaction is not only our #1 goal:   It's Matt's personal guarantee.
  • My job is a large one. What sized projects do you do?

Our crew is large enough for any residential project, as well as medium sized commercial jobs; but we're also happy to price minor repair work too.
  • May I ask for references?

We're happy to provide references on request.
  • My concern is that the job will make a mess throughout my home. How will you keep that from happening?

We use drop cloths and plastic barriers to keep your home clean - and are particularly careful to block all heating and cold air return ducts before starting. It's our responsibility to keep your home clean during the job; and to clean up after ourselves when the project is completed.
  • Are your estimates firm quotes? Or is it possible that the pricing may change?

We generally give firm quotes rather than rough estimates; and are happy to make our proposals in writing for larger jobs. Sometimes unforseen items like rotted framing within walls or attic spaces increase our costs, and those kinds of extra expenses are noted in our proposal.
  • We're not available to meet with you during normal hours. What can you do to help us out there?

It's not a problem! We understand difficult schedules; and we go out of our way to be as flexible as possible with every detail of your job's scheduling.
  • We had a bad experience once with workmen who played loud music and brought alcohol onto the job. What assurances can you give that we won't experience that?

Our firm pledge to you is that our people will conduct themselves with the kind of courtesy and professionalism that will make you want to recommend us to your friends without hesitation.
